It's split — and it matters. WF12 (Dewsbury, Savile Town, Thornhill) and WF17 (Batley, Birstall) fall under Wakefield Metropolitan District Council, but WF13 (Dewsbury Moor, Ravensthorpe), WF14 (Mirfield), WF15 (Liversedge) and WF16 (Heckmondwike) are all Kirklees Council. The two councils have different fees, application windows and lighting/cone requirements, so if your skip is going on a public road we need to know the exact postcode before quoting the permit.
